Evidence:The pre-event scouting damage boost (+1%) and the Zara scoring note are advice from a 50M+ power veteran player relayed to the site author; the 1% figure has not been read off an in-game screen or tested. The rally strategy and timing section is cross-referenced from community-published strategy material and independently rewritten. Full scoring formula, tiers, and rewards still have no verified source material.

Alliance Ambush’s full rules, scoring formula, tiers, and rewards haven’t been documented here yet. Two things are worth doing before the event starts.

Scout a city first

Scouting a city before Alliance Ambush begins gives you a 1% damage boost for the event. It costs almost nothing and it applies to your whole run, so make it part of your pre-event checklist alongside picking your squad.

The same boost applies to Giant Invader.

Bring Zara

Zara raises your score in Alliance Ambush. If you’re developing her for this, concentrate her Battle Skill EXP on Roar.

Rally strategy: join bonus rallies before opening your own

More hits on the boss means more total damage, so the goal is keeping the boss under constant attack rather than everyone launching separately:

  • R4/R5 should open most rallies. A rally opened by an R4 or R5 gives a damage bonus to everyone inside it.
  • Join a bonus rally before opening your own — don’t start your own rally if a bonus rally still has open slots. Fill the bonus rally first.
  • Fill rallies quickly so they launch sooner rather than sitting half-full.
  • Relocate closer to the boss if you can, to cut march time and get more hits in during the event window.
  • Rejoin a rally as soon as your march returns from the previous one — the goal is back-to-back hits, not one-and-done.

Timing: account for the 3-minute rally window

Rallies prepare for 3 minutes before they actually launch, and that preparation time is on top of march time to the boss:

  • Always account for the 3-minute prep timer plus your march time when deciding whether a rally can still land a hit before the event ends.
  • A rally that hits after the event ends deals no damage — don’t join or open one that can’t possibly land in time.
  • Once time remaining equals roughly 3 minutes plus your own march time, stop waiting around for a bonus rally to open. At that point, every active member should send their own individual rally to maximize the number of final hits before time runs out — last-minute hits from everyone acting independently can meaningfully change the total damage.

Still unverified. The 1% figure is a veteran player’s number, not one confirmed from an in-game screen. If you can verify it — or the rest of the event’s scoring — share what you find in Discord.
