Alliances can appoint members to five Official Positions (“Ministers”), each granting a temporary, server-wide buff to anyone holding the role while it’s active. Every position shares a baseline +50% bonus to research, building, and training speed, on top of a role-specific bonus:
| Position | Additional bonus |
|---|---|
| Tactical Minister | +20% hospital capacity and healing speed |
| Defense Minister | +20% soldier training limit and training speed |
| Construction Minister | +50% building speed, +25% research speed |
| Research Minister | +50% research speed, +25% building speed |
| Civil Minister | +100% food, metal, and oil output |
An appointment reportedly lasts about a minute of server time — short, but any action you start during that window keeps its bonus even if it finishes after your term ends. That makes timing matter more than the raw duration: queue up the actions the role boosts right when you’re appointed. For the Civil Minister specifically, since the bonus applies to resource output rather than a one-time grant, the reported approach is to collect once during the appointment, then leave resources building up in storage afterward rather than expecting repeated collections.
Ask your alliance’s officers about how appointments are handled in your alliance — the appointment process itself is set by each alliance rather than being a fixed game rule.
